Pipeline Engineer - Houston - Engineering Services

Responsibilities: Pipeline, maintenance, installation of
pipeline field projects to include preparation of specifications (materials and/or construction) related

cost estimates, schedules, budgets, project execution plans, studies and reports. May supervise contractors.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering ( prefer
PE ). Three years experience in construction and maintenance of large diameter natural gas and/or liquids
pipelines. Experience in the various phases of the pipeline installation process, i.e., planning, route

Reliability Engineer - Houston - Offshore Oil & Gas
Drilling
A global offshore oil and gas drilling company in Houston focused on technically demanding
environments is seeking a Reliability Engineer to conduct analysis of operational performance
and cost-benefits to avoid process/equipment failures, improve reliability, and assure the
effectiveness of performance standards and to coordinate solutions with Engineering and
Technical Services, field operations, and other departments where applicable.
Responsibilities: Initiate elemental engineering studies into
equipment/process failures and present details of the results. Evaluate critical operational
processes and identify key areas to improve operational effectiveness and reliability, with a
specific focus on high specification classes of rigs. Travel worldwide to conduct surveys and
investigations on rigs. Participate in qualitative risk analyses including Hazard Identification
Studies (HAZIDs), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs), Failure Mode and Effects (and Criticality)
Assessments (FMECAs), etc. Act as a focal point for translating key learnings into formal standards
to be applied in verifying reliability of key systems and processes.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (MS Preferred) in Reliability,
Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical engineering. Emphasis on industrial risk and reliability assurance.
Familiarity with reliability analysis tools (e.g., Reliasoft, MatLab, Maple, Mathcad). ASQ Certification
in Reliability Engineering preferred. Five (5) years working in industry, preferably expertise with
process safety, reliability and risk concepts. Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art reliability assessment
methods and techniques. Experience with accelerated life reliability testing, e.g. HALT/HAST etc.
Experience in reliability simulation. Knowledge of MS Windows, Word Processor (preferably Microsoft Word),
spreadsheet (preferably Microsoft Excel).
