Rebecca Rucker is an Executive Coach and Career
Consultant with over 20 years experience in providing quality executive coaching and
career management services to Fortune 500 clients. Utilizing assessments based on
client needs, she is adept at assisting executives in assessment of their skills and
knowledge and improving their effectiveness in organizations. Ms. Rucker skillfully
works with executives to improve their performance, increase their team’s productivity
and enhance the culture of the organization that leads to increased staff morale. Ms.
Rucker has worked with leaders and organizations in high tech, bio-technology, healthcare,
law, telecommunications, international business, finance and accounting.
In addition to executive coaching, Ms. Rucker’s expertise lies in
her ability to develop leaders. She assists her clients in assessing and transferring
their skills into new arenas and creating novel and effective strategies to manage their
careers, their management teams and their organizations. She excels in working with
senior level executives who want to lead their organizations and advance their careers.
Ms. Rucker has managed and facilitated large scale career centers
and projects for major companies including Chase Bank, BMC Software, PriceWatersHouse
Coopers, Waste Management, Dynegy, Motorola, Texas Instruments, and hospitals in the
Houston Medical Center as well as not-for-profit organizations. She specializes in
facilitating effective teams capable of the innovation and flexibility to adapt to
customer needs; providing quality skill building workshops, innovative networking venues;
and delivering outstanding coaching performance. These projects have provided clients
the ability to return to organizational effectiveness as quickly as possible following
re-organization.
Ms. Rucker is a former President of The Career Counselors Association
– Austin Chapter, and Vice President of Membership for the International Society for
Performance Improvement – Austin. She currently serves as the Vice President of Programs
for the Greater Houston Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association.
She is actively engaged in the creation of the Women’s Forum sponsored by the University
of Houston’s Continuing Education Department where she is conducting training in Leadership
Development.
Ms. Rucker is in doctoral studies in Human and Organizational Development
with The Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California. She has a Master of Arts
degree in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She is a
Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist maintaining her
association with healthcare as a national and regional speaker.
