Doug Kruse is Senior Consultant with Dawson Consulting
Group, responsible for supervisor training and leadership people skills coaching, as well
as, quality improvement training and consulting. He brings over 25 years manufacturing
supervision, quality assurance, project management and management team facilitation. His
specialty is leadership development.
Mr. Kruses experience was gained in Fortune 500 Companies in energy services as
quality engineer, shop supervisor, project manager, quality manager and employee
development manager. Based on his success as a quality manager in cultivating his
peoples strengths and getting them promoted, Mr. Kruse was promoted to employee
development manager to train supervisors, managers and executives on leadership. He has
helped hundreds of executives, managers, engineers, sales and operational professionals
and supervisors turn vision into measurable results.
Mr. Kruse also served as facilitator for plant steering committees for two plants with
1000 employees each. The steering committees implemented initiatives that led to millions
of man-hours without lost time accidents, voluntary turnover of less than 5% and record
breaking shipments.
As a consultant, he speaks, leads training workshops and coaches. He helps participants
envision their future possibilities, do what is right and get great results. Mr. Kruse
conducts workshops to train sales and operations teams on people skills, leadership and
structured problem solving methods. His audience involvement and speaking styles draw on
his experience as a trusted business mentor and trainer helping people perform more
effectively both personally and professionally. Doug shares timeless principles in new and
engaging ways.
Mr. Kruse earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Houston in 1981.

He is a professional member of the National Speakers Association since 2003 and was
